STRONGER COMMUNITIES,
A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE
Chris Wyche for Columbus

MEET CHRIS
Chris Wyche is passionate about making Columbus a city where everyone can thrive. Though born in Boston, Columbus has been his home for most of his adult life, and he is deeply committed to its growth, opportunity, and future.
After earning his degree in Economics Management from Ohio Wesleyan University, Chris built a career focused on bringing people together to create real change. From organizing national fundraising campaigns with United Way to expanding educational opportunities at City Year Columbus, Chris has always worked to strengthen communities and support those in need.
When the Great Recession hit, Chris returned to Columbus to be closer to loved ones and invest in the city's future. At City Year Columbus, he played a key role in launching the Diplomas Now School Turnaround Model, ensuring students received the right support at the right time. Later, as Director of External Affairs for AT&T Ohio, he built partnerships, advocated for digital equity, and helped shape policies that impact families across the state.
Chris believes Columbus is a city of potential, and with the right leadership, it can be a place where every neighborhood prospers, every student succeeds, and every resident has access to opportunity. He is running to bring thoughtful, community-driven solutions to City Hall and ensure Columbus remains a city that works for everyone.
